Second quarter donation goes to MIND!

Second quarter donation goes to MIND!

I've just made my second quarterly donation for 2017 to MIND, the mental health support charity.  They were of tremendous help to me when I was struggling and I love being able to give a little something back. Next quarter it will be the turn of Lupus UK, and remember that 10% of the price you pay for all jewellery from Sparkly Pretty Things goes straight to one of my three chosen charities, who were of such great help to me when I became chronically ill.

I am very proud and excited to announce that I've been selected by the mighty Amazon to join their Handmade marketplace, for crafting artisans only. This is a huge win for me; as you may know I'm disabled and unable to work so being selected for my jewellery making is just wonderful and very rewarding personally. Let me give you some background. Whenever I go out somewhere with my husband or friends, I have to use either my scooter or a wheelchair to get around more than a few feet. This is because...
